Surrounded by the Neuchâtel vineyards, the winery is located at the foot of the Château d’Auvernier in a conservation area. The works for the integration of photovoltaic modules into the roof of a number of buildings within the winery complex demanded particular attention to the area. The challenge for the entire project, which was completed in 2018, was to integrate the buildings into the existing environment, respecting the restrictions regarding conservation, offering an efficient and aesthetically pleasing solution. The building was awarded the 2019 Swiss Solar Prize.

The photovoltaic modules cover the entire south-eastern roof area of a number of buildings in the winery complex, creating uniform surfaces of a terracotta colour, thus respecting the strict building requirements of the project.

The Solrif mounting system guarantees the characteristics of a traditional roof.
